Yes. This line is seen as an easy line to cast with and is very popular. Some people regard it as a bit clumsy, however if you are fairly new/relative novice you will find it user friendly. it has quite a short head. The Intermediate can also be used as a slow sinker (up to 2 IPS) and aslo casts well. ATB Robbie

A Good line if you are a novice and only fish once a year.
As has been said it is a bit clumsy on delivery, often making a lot of disturbance when landing on the water. They are useful on small rivers when fishing with tips and tubes, managing to load the rod and turn the flies over at short distance, this is due to the very short front taper.
If you are learning and planning to fish regularly, I would opt for a line with more of a front taper on. This will make you a better caster in the long run.
