The best person to talk to is greenbanks (send him a pm). He uses the 10/11 Multi System and has the above rod and I am sure would be only too happy to comment.
I haven't had any more than a few minutes with the Le Cie on the shorter 63ft head config and can't remember having to pull the marker in to the rings to cast which I never usually do.
If your in or ever near Perthshire you should bring your Le Cie down to the Newtyle hut and we could try the 10/11 & 9/10 out on it ?
