Hi, by the way, should have said 5th May, not march. it was taken from the neck of boat pool, right at the top of the lower beat. I always fish lower beat as I think it is prettier and in my humble opinion it has pools that fish well in both higher and summer low water. Here are two more beautiful chesters fish from last year- A very good day in early June on low water. Cheers, Simon

Oh, and Andrew, I will probably fish Chesters on Saturday and then Bywell Quarry, below Wylam Bridge Pool or on the North Tyne at Chollerford on Sunday this week depending on water height.

Good stuff. Thats why i was getting confused, as 5th March would be a very early fish off Chesters and i didn't remember hearing of one then...
