Great pics but using 2 rods at the same time is just showboating. Still glad for the reminder as to what a salmon looks like and that the sky is not always blue.

Well spotted Wilbert,

to be clear - well spotted, Wilbert.

The lower river was quite intimidating - about 1/2mile wide - and the run by the rocks is fished towards own bank until you can't stand the pace, then a walk back upstream to get out ! So I asked Rabbi to take both rods until we waded beyond the flow - he then has 2 casts at me if the worst came to pass !

The bottom is constantly moving lava dust - stay still for 5 minutes and you create a hole below so step aside. Yowza !
