Ericht was up a foot today so ventured out and bumped into kelliefly..... basically to cut a long story short..... i showed him the best place to fish, and within one hour he had a fish on the bank!! 
Okay okay..... so there is a bit of artistic license there! Grant knows the river like the back of his hand and after giving me a few helpful hints and showing me some nice lies, proceeded to catch a fish inside an hour!
The fish was returned after posing for a shakey snap..... but from the pics you get the jist. It was an appaulingly thin fish and there is no way that a fish should be returning to the river in that condition. There must be some serious problems at sea going by some of these skinny fish people keep mentioning. 'tis a real shame!
