 an 8 pound spring salmon that i caught on the river cree on the 30th march this year |

Nice looking fish gazco and welcome to the forum. I've never fished the Cree. Does it have a decent spring run like the Bladnoch?

there is always a chance of a salmon in march on the cree but the bladnoch is known for its spring fishing/ i caught 8 salmon on the cree this year,kept 2 and returned the rest,

did yuo get yr fish on the fly,gazco,must be a crackin spring run, thats good innins mate-nice to hear of a few goin back too.  |

got this one on a red and gold tay minnow (had 4 on the fly) this was the first spring salmon on the cree this season
