I concur, very nice fish. Does the Whiteadder fish well early in the season?

salmonking, Is the Whiteadder worth a cast late April or early May. I've thought about stopping there for a day or two on my way up to the highlands in the spring. Does it drop very quickly having the dams up on the headwaters, realistically what are the chances without a spate. Oh yes, and where are all the hotspots Cheers Andy

You'd be right at home there Andy, the gillie is an innovative soul like you and can often be seen casting a weighted nymph on a Di7

EXEROD,YOU WOULD BE TAKING A BIG CHANCE.....IT DOES DROP REALLY QUICK.... Thanks for that. Sounds very like my home rivers, so probably too hit and miss to book up in advance. Rob I suppose I should fish a big river one day but I see West Learmouth starts at £50/day, I think I would have a better chance rushing home and going to the Lyn Andy
