My first attempt at posting a photo. Made these for the new season...Saturday on Coupar Grange then onto the Dee... How do I get a bigger picture and how do I upload multipule photos?

Sloggie, Nice looking flies, which seem to be the 'new' in fly for the coming season. The question is - Are they coneheads or turbodiscs... ? SAY

Yes, they look great but I'm having trouble with the long wing catching the hook and with the marabou and wing becoming lumpy (see the MF Conehead thread in Fly Tying). Will try different things until they are right as they do look great in the water.

Buy some Loon UV fly paint and make a drop or two in the gap on your double or treble hook.
It adds a bit of colour to your hooks (you get orange, yellow, green etc) and it stops the wings from catching. Works great!

sloggi have you try-ed the chickabou i have try this in stead off marabou and it is nice and soft and comes on a cape with lots of different lengths of hackles .
