Whilst fishing this evening, stripping a Collie Dog in the failing light, I hooked and landed this trout. As it hadn’t mistaken the 4” Collie Dog for a Mayfly, I explained the error of his ways and put on the Black Cap.  The Post Mortem revealed his guilt.   Note my garden slabs are 2ft square, fished weighed 2 3/4 lb when I remembered to weigh it after gutting. |
