Whoops that was scary Storlaks. Just followed your Lochy post with this and saw you posted the same answer 10 mins earlier - very spooky Had a fish out the Pantoch and a belter from the Sawmill last February. this year there was a 60mph upstream wind and big waves and we caught hee haw

It's a great pool when you have 4-6inches on Brian's gauge. However that doesn't happen very often in March Spooky indeed splash. We seem to share a common fishing theme. You caught fish though, so I guess that where our commonality ends ;D

This February we a 60 mph upstream wind which was caused waves, the likes I've never seen before when fishing. It was like the North Sea outside the hut. Even the hi d shooting heads were using were hurtled upstream at a rate of knots ending up behind you by about 20 yards. Probably the windiest day that I have ever encountered salmon fishing. Come to thing about it that's a good topic for a new thread....
