Wonderful pictures, thanks you. Just goes to show that trout have eyes bigger than their stomachs (or mouths). Reminds me to go visit my relatives in Italy soon after so many years and this time I'll take my rods. Well, Forlì is on the way.

my family come from Monte Cassino, (spelling) they walked to Scarbrough in the late 1800s,then walked back to Italia to tell the rest of the family about Scarbrough,then most of us Valente's walked back to the uk to settle and make ice cream in and around the Scarbrough area

I wouldn't like to travel from Settle to Scarborough, or even Scarbrough, every day to make and sell ice cream...but then it doesn't seem so far after you've walked from/to Monte Cassino.
