I have noticed over the past fornight that the east coast rivers catches have slowed up was wondering if catches are linked to the tides(low tide hieghts just now)

We have slowed down a bit on the Deveron as well but our tides are at 4 m this weekend which is just about as high as we get.
We always see a cycle and never see a sustained run . If we pick up next week we will mirror the last two seasons with three good weeks then a bad one, followed by a couple of reasonable ones.
However overall we are over 100 fish to date which is a 25% improvement on last year.

I'ts about the same here Frank 4.3m today Alot of fish seen in the morning but obviously running through, however the river is dropping away now which will slow down the fish a bit and improve our chances,on known form. Our catch figures are also up this year too.
