I'use the same set up on one reel I use,I have found over the years that a tucked blood knot works very well, but tightened very carefully ! Never a problem.

The very best and cleanest knot for braid to mono, with much reduced chance of the braid cutting through the mono is the Albright knot. A very simple knot to learn. Look here for all your knotty descripions www.animatedknots.com/indexfishing.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpgDo the Albright as described here using the mono as the loop and the braid to put through ant turn around, but use 12 plus turns with braid, snug it all up slowly, gently and neatly before going tight. If you really want you can put a dab of glue on it, but I don't bother.
