Hi all, I'm new to this forum and was thinking how do you start a new subject as opposed to a new thread?
This Subject as I see it is Spinning under the heading of Spin & Bait, is it possible to ad the subject of Bait fishing?

Welcome. I don't think there are enough bait fishers on here to justify a separate Bait Board. Just pop your bait related stuff in here, I'm sure you will get some responce Where do you fish? Andy

I think it was £75.00 befor feb 21st and after that it went up to £135. Please dont quote me on this as i havent got my ticket yet, thats what i was told on the phone by the guy in carmarthen farmers.. I live in crosshands and am still debating which club to join.... (confused . com) as ive never fished the towy before. I fished the teifi but that was 20 years ago when i was a kid, we used to go on a fishing holiday. Its been a long time since i fished for game fish, I regulary go carp fishing and sea fishing though, just thought id get back into it..

I used to fish the worm and the fly. I used to use one of the Daiwa whisker. Dual Catcher. 13ft #9/10 7 to 50grm If I rose a fish to the fly, and could not get him to come again. I would switch the rod handle; around put up some worms and 90% of the time; I would get a take on the worm’ found this a great method especially low water. This was my first real salmon fly rod, after a number of years I stopped using the rod for worming, as I found myself on occasions’’ when I rose a fish if he did not take’ then resting him I would try later Now I fish only the fly unless the river is really in flood ;although I confidently fish the fly in conditions that I thought would only suite the worm in the past. Still I think it’s as difficult to fish the worm right as it is the fish the fly

Hi bandon, do you know if Daiwa still make the Dual Catcher, sounds an interesting rod.
Im thinking of converting a 12/13ft Salmon rod for bait fishing but that Daiwa sounds ideal.
