Had my first ever time spinning for Salmon on Sat (in some deep pools) using Salmonnuts fantastic Flying C's - black/pink head. Must say I really enjoyed it - great fun to see the fish chasing at the lure. Had 2 good takes with the fish coming right out of the water (near the end of the retrieve) and then lost as they went back under - I suspect I may have had another couple as both felt like I had snagged.
Had one follow almost right into my feet.
Definately another set of skills to master and opens up other avenues if the fly isn't an option...
