I'm up in Speyside for a week at the end of this month and would like to know if anyone has knowledge of an Instructor/Guide who would take a relative newcomer to salmon for a days lesson.I thrash about ok at home on the Teith but know I really need a couple of lessons.
Cheers

Thanks Nolon Do you think you get a discount after buying one of Ian's lines? (Don't think it works that way)

I was referred by Hamish (Munro's of Aberlour) to Ian Neale and it was a brilliant lesson that brought together more learning in a morning than I could have managed myself in a whole season. Apart from the basic speycasts he delights in teaching you rivercraft (spotting lies, presentation and tactics). He is also a great story teller without overfacing the beginner.
Best money I spent last year and I ought to go again this summer 'cos I still cant put the fly quite where I want it..
I have also heard that Gwilym Hughes (Welsh Dee) is first class too

Hi JAD
I have spoken to you before havent I?!
Arent you part of the Dee Mafia on the Corwen Messageboard on the Dee? You may remember me in my other nom de plume (JJMillwall)!!
I have joined CADAC now too and will be out on the water this sunday - cant wait..
I am told Gwilym Hughes is a mater and a gent so you'll have a brilliant time. Tell us how you get on 'cos I might take some of his time this year (its only my second salar season and I could do with some refresher tuition)
