On the Teith at Callender today.Did I remember my Xmas pressie from the kids,a lovely Sharpes wading staff...No. Did I take a tumble after only half an hour...Yes. Was the water absolutely freezing...Yes.Did I stay and carry on fishing...Yes.And finally did I catch anything....NO!!!

On my second trip to Aberlour last year, I tripped over my wading staff and thanked Jesus for my inflatable braces! Spey water is very cold in April. Did it get me off the water? No. Were my undercrackers frozen? Yes. And did I catch anything? No.

We should form a club.
