Is it ever worth saying there is no point going Salmon fishing.... on the fly...... when the water temperature drops below a certain point?? At the moment the Ericht is sitting at around 0.7 celsius or 33oF for old the old school anglers I have not managed a cast for two weeks and if i dont go tomorrow then it will be another week beofre i wet a line..... so at 0.7oC am i only likely to get cold feet and hands or will i have a chance?? I'm sure i read somewhere that the water needs to be 4 degrees or there abouts for fish to run.... and the water was 7 degrees just last week and very mild for the weeks prior.... so would i have a chance? Or should i just have a long lie? your thoughts please!

The weather is supposed to be mince but getting oot and hopefully hooking into a fish will soon wipe away the sleat and snow. ;D Tight Lines Hornet

We are fishing here in Sweden and here it's alot colder than over there, as the others have said you will never catch anything without your line in the water.
