Hi, I recently purchased a Loop Quatro Spey line with 4 interchangeable tips. I am really not sure about what length or type of leader I should be attaching. Obviously since the tips are Floating, intermediate etc, there is no point in attaching e.g. polyleaders that are the same? Can anyone suggest what I should be attaching to these tips, I have been using simply a metre length of 20lb nylon... Help ! Cheers.

Each member will have a different set-up - here's mine I have this line and usually add about 2' of 25.5lb fluorocarbon then about 5' of 19lb to first dropper then 5' of 15.4lb to the point. Naturally, the breaking strain lessens or increases and the lengths change according to conditions but that's a general set-up.

Thanks sloggi
While I am on the subject of Quatro.... how do you find the Fast sink and the ultra fast sink tips? I find the length of these too long because the tips seem to have little or no taper, which means that when I cast it is often like having a stick on the end of my line i.e. the tips don't role out very well and hit the water sideways. I am more than happy to concede that it is my casting however ;D

To be honest, I don't use them very often. I use the slow sink tip occasionally but when I need to get down, I use a full intermedite line with a range of sink tips.
