Could someone please offer advice on a little and often ocuring problem I have with my Single Spey. In previous posts I have mentioned that I am not able to obtain practical instruction here in France. Very often when my line is coming back to form the loop my leader bounces off the water once or twice before settling Why is this and what can I do to stop it ? Thanks in advance for any advice

sounds possible that you might be lowering the tip of the rod too much, too early, in the sweep. Or as in my case the amount of line out the tip of the rod may not be long enough for the length of rod you are using
