I like to buy locally but I'm finding more and more that either the quality is not what I want or they do not have the material in stock. Any good online/mailorder suppliers you can recommend. I'm running short of certain colours of bucktail and I'm about to venture into the hitherto unknown world for me of Templedogs, Coneheads etc. and so quality Arctic Fox or whatever will be required.
Another winter of fly tying lies ahead. I'll soon need a trailer for all the flies I take fishing.

Jock, Check out this eBay seller for Arctic Fox, search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZfoxy-tailsQQhtZ-1Good quality with quantity to boot!! Save you paying £2.50 for the normal wee patch found elsewhere. My mate bought a tail in white and dyes it whichever colour he wishes, always another option. Clydebuilt

Ellis Slater, see his ad. in T+S to get a catalogue. 47,Bridge Cross Road, Chase Terrace Burntwood W57 2BU. Tel.01543 671377. He also visits or used to various game fairs, its all good stuff and if you are explicit when ordering he will do his best and not fob you off with unsuitable stuff.
