Well I have finally found time to "crack off" a few Willie Strokers, 10 to be precise. I ain't the best fly tier in the world but I am trying and getting a little better. Its an easy pattern to tie and could well already have a name but its something i cooked up whilst at the vice one night after a can or 2 of Stella. Anyway her is a pic and there will be a step by step instruction to follow.

Scotty no real reason for the name its just a name that sticks and there is actually an American guy that commentates on show jumping. Its the only time show jumping has brought a smile to my face when the other half insists on watching it dragging me off to a show to watch her in the close season of course.

Hi Alan,
I sent them out yesterday and they should be with Colin by now, so we can all look forward to our flies pretty soon!
I am still feeling my way around the Tyne system. 2005 I just bought days at Chesters and caught fish regularly. Last year I joined TAS and caught sod all in the whole year, so I will probably go back to buying days at Chesters- The earliest it is worth having ago is late April that far up, so it will probably be around then. Before that I will have to head slightly further north.
Cheers, Simon

Maybe Colin could post a note if there is a delay or whatever. I see his last log in date was the 22nd so he has been around, hope everything is OK with him.
