There is a supplier on ebay called Tackletrade tht always has capes, and at least you can see a picture of the actual cape. I think 40 quid is about the average selling price.
Cheers, Simon

Try Hugo Ross in Wick. I bought one earlier in the year. It arrived the next day, the quality excellent and cost very reasonable. I now have enough JC to last for years!

Colin - I just bought one after some haggling for £40 from Toms Tackle on the Adrlough Road (near Drummahoe). He had one other one of slightly poorer quality but you could check if he has any others/expecting any more. Its a good wee shop and probably not too far from you - he has a fair selection of tying stuff so worth a look anyway. E

My god McHardys of carlisle that takes me abck a few years. Do any of you guys remember years ago maybe 20 years now McHardys used to do loads of free capes if you just asked for them or maybe you got 20 for a quid. I bought my first ever capes from them 20 years ago aged just 3 haha.
