I like these too. Again proportions are ok and the colours are fine.
I never use trebles now - most rivers I fish on are not keen on trebles. Intersting that you find trebles easier to use - doesn't the extra point cause problems?
When I began tying, I used to copy flies to get proportions, lengths, and accuracy right. I always tied flies I knew worked like an Ally's shrimp, or blue charm etc so I knew if I tied them accurately, they would be successful as the pattern was proven. I still remember the first fish on my own tied fly...
Now I tie any colour that tales my fancy - at the moment it's purple and copper!

i think i'm a bit off e-bay at the moment! I've seen how much some of the flies go for on there..... not a lotto! and if it costs me £5 or £6 for ten hooks..... i'll probably make £4 when i sell ten!! ;D ;D ;D Maybe i'll put a few on one day for a laugh!! I'll let you all know when they are on so you can bid away!!!! Remember i'm just a poor lad so bid up! ;D All the best! John.
