Just seen the long range weather forecast (next two weeks). Looks like rain, rain, rain. So as not to be outweathered for the start of the new season - thought I'd tie up a "full-proof spate bomb" - which will become known as the "fsb" if it does well !!

What did you tie that on - a grappling hook?

Just don't use it with a leadcore line, you'll get thrown off the river

We sometimes use it as an anchor to rope down a pool on the Ness - but only in spate. ;D
