I was having a look through my fly book and i noticed a few salmon patterns with eyes on them. Thought it would be interesting to slap some on a willie gunn. I suppose they do the same job as jungle cock cheeks really. What do you think? Does it have potential? I'm very interested to know   It's a monster! ;D |

That fly would definitely catch fish. Salmon will take anything. Only kidding ;D

my thinking was, rather simplistically, that the eye may trigger aggression in freshish fish. Don't know if it's a bit overboard. There's only one way to find out i suppose
