in photobucket, you have 3 code options. if you choose the IMG option your pics will appear instead of the link.

Cheers Ross. I'll do better next time Yes, still not convinced about these "cones". Always wanted to find a way to use marabou in my flies without it ending up like a bit of algae so let's see. Time will tell.

Yes, it's easier to tie bigger patterns. I done a couple of smaller versions with the S and XS discs but I'm having trouble accessing "mini-marabou". I've used a false hackle on the two small versions. Anyone know where mini-marabou is available? I've also just recently discovered Mirage Tinsel which is really great

keep one aside for me to have a look at. im going out on the don on opening day if you fancy a cast and tour of parkhill.
never tried marabou, but always thought it was too easily destroyed. Arctic Fox body hair is very, very soft and might be a more durable alternative.

Hi Ross
Sure, I'll keep them aside. Not sure when my first foray to the Don will be, but I'll let you know. Will be during the first week.
The small blue/black/yellow disc-fly is a micro-tube which M Frodin used on Lower Dess last season which proved extremely successful.
