I have already tied some up yellow & red. Look the business. I would be tying some up in 6. 8 & 10's as well. Just to cover all eventualities

Just like the cascade, the kylie is a pattern that lends itself to tinkering and works well with different colours. Try a small black and silver one for the summer. A nice change from a stoats tail.

A friend is fishing the Carron in May and asked if I knew the dressing for the Kylie shrimp.
What's the usual dressing?
Is there a common theme to variants, eg a copper body?

Thanks Fruin.
My pal heard that 60% of the fish on Carron were caught on the KS last year. I would guess that 90% of anglers were fishing it!

Thanks Fruin. My pal heard that 60% of the fish on Carron were caught on the KS last year. I would guess that 90% of anglers were fishing it! Possibly because the originator Alan Donaldson seems to catch many of the Carron fish ,I beleive he only fishes 2 patterns one being the Kylie the other a collie variant
