What is the tail made of? Is it Arctic Fox? My only concern would be the tail/wing snagging round the points. Perhaps you would be kind enough to post the pattern's details?
They look superb though, and well tied.

They look superb though, and well tied. thanks Sloggi - the tail materials vary but most are a combination of bucktail to give them some defination and profile and then a softer material like arctic runner (to give them movement). I have found by combining the materials it reduces the snagging round the hooks (the bucktail is tied below or sandwiched around the softer material as it is the softer fox and runner that is usually the problem )
