Are they schlappen hackles Peter?

The hackle I use is Whiting Hen Hackles or Keough Hen Hackles in large sizes.
The best is to find feathers that has a good taper.

I also like to put in a Spey Hackle to get a more fluffy look on the fly.

Some other feather I like to use is Chevron. Its very good quality and the colours are just perfect..
