I was looking through Trout and Salmon (March 2007 p.82) last night and came across this fly. Could not resist in giving it a go. I have added Jungle cock to this one I reckon it looks like a shrimp/prawn. Will defiantly be getting a swim in the Tay. What do you all think? good fish catcher?

can we have a step by step . ;D Dressing is as follows:- 1" Copper Tube (or any size or make) Thread: Black Tail: Five or 6 dyed red/orange hackles feathers tied in a circle and curving outwards to shield the hook. Body:Synthetic red dubbing tapering from tail to head (I used Lite brite) Rib: Gold Oval Wing: A small bunch of red hair - Calf, Bucktail etc Cheeks: optional - Jungle cock The original does not have JC cheeks but I think it adds that little bit to a fly so I always put them in. I am sure red wool would do for the body as well. The body, tail and wings could different colours - another variant on its way ;D
