lite brite and seals fur.
i agree, the dubbed body creates a strong profile. I like a 6 double in streamy water- total length about 3".

Hi folks, just wondering what lite bright is? I've been tying my own flies for years but have never used this, at the same time though have always heard it mentioned in patterns. Am am i correct in thinking it's basically sparkly dubbing? cheers

thinking the same thing and wondering how to make one Get some probe clips and glue the bottom into a recess in the wood. www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=46648&doy=11m3Some tackle shops sell them with a wire loop on as EZ Hackle pliers, cost more though and you don't need the loop.
