I am looking for some long black hair for large tubes.I have icelandic sheep and goat hair and these are not really what I'm looking for also tried arctic fox and it's just too short. Alan

Eventually found some about 3inch long from Somers available in most colours.

artic runner or foxy tails dot com do some long hair i use french goat hair , very long and fine , lots of movement

try Frank from Turriff Tackle, he does long templedog hair as well

Heard from a local tier today that he intends using "Bird Fur" for the same reasons you mentioned above Madkeen ...Corky PS he might have been winding me up. ;D

Cheers, just ordered some. Goat hair in my local tackle shop was only about 3" long max.
