Can anyone suggest where I can buy a vice or attachment for my fly vice to tie tubes, that's not too expensive?

I have bought from Lakeland Fly Tying - www.lakelandflytying.com/They are good. I wouldn't buy a tube fly vice unless I was tying comercially. Buy a cheap attachment HMH or similar combined with various sizes of needle.

Best tube fly adaptor i've used so far is made by Eumer (www.eumer.com) available from Somers in Aberdeen , nicely made with a in-line screw at front for tightening, as well as usual pin locking screw. Head came off the pins though, but it's easy to make new ones by doubling the stop-end of wire & passing a gold-head bead from point end so it jams at end, can then be soldered or glued to keep in place.

I don't bother with a tube fly vice, have always used blind eye salmon hooks of various sizes.
