Been tying some Cascades on tubes for the Tweed and been using some Silver Fox from the Finnish Fur Co.(I think its them)instead of Squirrel tail for the wing and its giving me that nice tear drop shape with no effort at all, trouble is I have run out and cant remember where it came from and the Finnish Fur Co. don't appear to answer e-mails.Tried the arctic fox but its not long enough and doesn't look right or as good.Think I am being picky as its maybe the same stuff but it keeps my confidence up when I am using it,a few different colours might come in handy too. As ever help will be very much appreciated. Pedro.

I have had a couple of enquiries re longer fox furs from forum members so I thought I would post a general response , We stock full natural silver fox tails at 10.99 these are longer than arctic fox ... cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160158180487We do occaisionally get some dyed silver fox tails the black is difficult to obtain and sells very rapidly... We also get some plate we do not often list this on ebay but it is always worth asking if we have any available.. We can be contacted on sales@foxy-tails.co.uk and will always try to help Arctic fox is either Blue Fox or Shadow Fox...easily identified the Blue fox has denser underfair and no matter which colour you dye it will always have black guard hairs...the Shadow fox is silkier with less underfur and takes vivid dyes very well...we always try and stocj this in preference to dyed Blue fox because the quality is so much better. Hairs on both are to 3 inches ...however my customers tell me that the shadow is sometime over.. Hope this helps.. My thanks to all my customers both past present and future...
