Dying to give this chap a swim - back end colours - autumnal coppers, blacks and fallen leaf amber hues. Tied in my "target" red tag butt which whilst works well and has caught on original silver lower bodied cascades in summer, looks very inviting against the copper. Trouble is .... no water in late October on local river Endrick, so might never know (this season) if it's a catcher. JC optional, but thought it also added to the autumnal feeling. Dress your flies for the season you're fishing - nature would. Altmor.

Bonnie, I've not tried it on a tube version, but that looks the business. Think I'll away and cut up some cotton bud ear cleaners and give it a go.
Cheers,
Altmor.

another copper cascade variant salmonnut, Did you use Black "Lite brite" in front of the Copper? I recently bought a good few colours of this to try on cascade variants etc too, and of course for the Park Shrimp of Macd's. I suppose the limits are endless with new materials but it would be interesting to see how the Lite Brite bodies compare to plain floss bodies bext season. Cheers Clydebuilt
