Hi anicol,
I have one that I use for saltwater fly fishing it is an excellent bit of kit as long as you are not deep wading . If deep wading the line tends to lift out with the water movement.

I have one, but it is a bit small and it is totally useless when wading much above knee height in fast water. If you really need a stripping basket, most saltwater fly fisherman use the massive orvis hard basket.

They are useful for shooting heads but I find them slightly on the small side. I must agreed with graham on this as well, I have one and it works for me with shooting heads.
