Has anybody out there tried one of these? There are 2 versions; 14 & 15ft. I live in France & regularly travel by air. At present I use a Fulling Mill 15ft 6 pce ( great rod by the way), but would be interested in any recations as to these new 12 piecers.

Had a cast of one briefly at the Don and Jim's open day a few weeks ago. It felt remarkably fine and you certainly wouldn't know it was a twelve piece rod. I only cast with it for half a dozen casts though , so would reserve judgment on both its overall performance and its longevity. Wouldn't fancy taping it though ! |
