Is it possible to Spey cast on grass ? I'm sure I have read that you need to use a special leader which provides a better grip on the grass but i can't remember where I read it.

I'm struggling to find a suitable venue local to Bacton for practicing so it looks like I will have to make do with grass.

And do you tie flies on every second dropper ? That would be a worm fly.
