just out of interest is anyone else on the forum in a pb??? am just back from the scottish championships at dumbarton wot a day!!! up at 3.30....AM!!!!!!!!!!!! away all day and back at oo.12!!!!!!!!!the hours are long...but they're fun!!!!!!

Don't play myself but actively support my son and daughter who play in [sfu and bleary and dist] Wasn't at dumbarton but will be at Pitlochry. Hope the weather improves. I like rain for fishing but sunshine for the bands. Do you play in a band?

Blair,
No piper here, just a guitarist. Played in various bands over the years and worked in the industry for a bit. When my wife was expecting my first kid, the music or the fishing had to go; there was no option but to give up the music.
I keep thinking of selling all my music gear to fund fishing stuff, but can't put myself through that sort of emotional trauma ;D
