i71.photobucket.com/albums/i126/ADennis277/IMG_1015.jpgAmazingly the AA driver thought he could drive through a bog across two very wet fields to rescue our broken down car by the river bank. He got about 100yards with his heavy vehicle and thin front whell drive tyres (god knows what he thought he was doing)... We had a flat battery from leaving the tailgate open for a few hours, so we just needed a booster pack to get the engine turning over. We ended up digging him out and pulling him out with my dad's car. It was very lucky that we did actually manage to get that very heavy van out of the bog. Infact we snapped his tow rope trying to pull him out! Dave - this is the bit i don't think you saw!

It has a bad record in its old age.
It did it last month on the Dee, luckily Jim the gillie was around with some jump leads!

Some of the things I learn't over the years with Salmon fishing.Always have a change of dry clothes a towel and a set of jump lead. Don't take them out of the car,if you do that will be the time when you need them.S?? Law
