Banter all the way ;D The Rivers in Tayside and Aberdeenshire are superb and a must visit for anyone who fly fishes for Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout. And this is coming from some one who grew up having many a summer knocking about the Clyde at Daldowie. First fish i ever saw on the Clyde was a stone loach then a wee broon troot sitting at the entrance of the River Calder. Ah those were the days . Hornet

Sounds great , I was brought up by the Scaur at Penpont in them days there was sea trout everywhere (does anyone know what its like now?) then got dragged off to Dumfries, never did fish the Nith, now in Annan fishing okay but the best water costs too much. My ambition is too fish way up north on a small Highland river , one day wife permitting. Got to go watching footy.
