Driving up to Kercock today heard a good one on the radio regarding the goings-on in Devon..."These BMW bikes are really no use to these blokes....They're all Left-Hand Drive "

I would imagine that the dip and full beam would be reversed. The tyres may be not up to British standards depending on the country they were destined for.
Still not bad for £0.00

Sorry boys, only just seen this one, yesterday's news now. Alan and Malcolm are both right about the headlamps dipping the wrong way on non Uk spec bikes, also the speedo reads in KPH instead of MPH. This is not so much of a problem these days though, due to most new bikes having digital speedos it's quite easy to swap it back to mph. There may be other small differences such as emissions and noise levels but these wouldn't show until MOT time. There shouldn't be any difference with tyres, manufacturers seem to do a deal with tyre companies and stick the same general purpose tyres on every bike. It's usually the loons who change them as soon as they're out of the showroom because they feel the need to have tyres made out of superglue, thus enabling them to go at the speed of light everywhere. Hope this sheds some light on it.
