the beach is about 2 miles or so up from dornoch. that is where a sea loch enters the sea, cant remember what it is called off the top of my head scotty. ;D |

Jack looked like that once - now he's more of a "whippet", skinny fellow and good at the runs.....which brings me to the puddings Scottyjock - thought of a nice sticky toffee pudding for him - but he's still a touch tender "a la derriere", and the thought of the cleaning up .... well, enough said on that one !! ;D ;D

AA, like master like beast - Scotty, Bruce sounds the perfect height and build for carrying all your tackle down to the river.
SK, thanks for the words, as you'll have read, I need to "fatten him up", not something you'd think was that difficult, Jack being a lab after all - but he certainly has been knocked for six with this.
I'll be taking him back to the vet again tomorrow evening - will keep you posted, but I know he's over the worst - just need to get his appetite back. (and a plug for the derriere .... ). ;D
