We all thought that about MacEnroe and then Agassi. He has some passion and likes to win. Personally I prefer to see and watch someone like that than some boring fart who looks like a public school boy. Don't they all? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I agree with Storlaks,
Moan, fight and a never say die attitude is what has taken him along with his natural talent to the top twenty.
When you watch him and he is maybe struggling he will start to moan at himself out loud as this is the method that has been taught to him from his coach.
Strange method you would think but it actually seems to work for him on the court as he has turned round many a tie that has looked like he would lose.
At the end of the day everybody to their own and i for one will be supporting him.
Likewise with Wimbledon, my two book a week away and i book fishing so it works out fine by me.

Wouldn't be as bad as supporting Bradford City.

Smart lad that Murray. Took one look at the weather forecast and decided he didn't want to spoil his hairdo. Told you he was a wuss. Suppose it'll be Henman Pill... , sorry , Hillock again this year. Or am I totally out of touch ?

Aye, He packed it in with Hardy's and now works as a ghillie on the Tweed and as i believe a much happier man for it. The other AM knew if he went out early he would lose valuable ranking points and drop out of the top ten. So common sense prevailed or he got told of from his mother Judy. Father time is not against him so he has plenty of Wimbledons in front of him. I hope Tim does well as he deserves one last shot.

Happy to shout for Henman except for the fact he's a bit of a bloody mummy's boy but nothing I expect a night out with Keef Richards wouldn't sort out.
As for Andy Murray and his array of foreign football tops, well it'll be "Whoever is playing Andy Murray........" for me for the next two weeks.
Never had this degree of antimony to a Scots sportsman before, and a great admirer of Jackie Stewart,Colin Wells,Kenny Dalgleish,Blly Bremner etc etc but his remarks a couple of years ago didn't go down well in this quarter despite being teenager and apparently not knowing better.
He should have had to beg to the Queen as Patron of the All England Club to even get onto an outside court to practise in the rain.
I bet that well known Tweedhill doubles pair of Tait and Murray could give him and Henman a run for their money in the Newcastle Arms over a lunchtime Carlsberg or two followed up by a flooded-off afternoon of darts and doms in the Besom with the Earl of Chorley,Brendan and Kevin for a bit of Turf Accountancy with the Racing Channel on the box.
Aaaah. What a lovely way to waste a day.

Aye, I hope Tim does well as he deserves one last shot. At that level of competition no one " deserves " anything. Mind you , Hennymun should get a medal from Fleet Street . Why
