River Tay

A few people were telling me this morning that there had been a landslide upstream on The Garry?? and that the Tay was "pretty coloured" now thats an understatement!!

I was out metal detecting today around Stobhall beat (dont ask!!) and my god... what a colour!!! Its like a dirty spate but running at 4inches..... I dont think there will have been many lines wet today.

I'm sure that there will be many an unhappy angler, any ideas as to what happened? or how long it will take to clear??

Crossed over the tummel on saturday on the A9 and it was carrying the most amount of colour i have ever seen.I am hoping to get out on the tay this week so here's hoping it clears quick.
