Tay is still holding a lot of colour as of yesterday but the fish are being caught and in numbers cargill and islamouth both 13 fish today. alan

There is still a bit of grey looking sediment,which in fact seems to be more like powder in the water,we had 34 for the 4 days we were able to fish. I think the hydro board realeased more water from Fascally dam to run off the "dusty" water faster,on our gauge the water is now-1"from 3" on yesterday but with the high tides of this week the fish have been running up. What has been very noticeable this week is that there are very few fish showing on any of the beats.Two guys yesterday fishing one of our streams did'nt see a fish show all morning, but caught three each ! Roll on monday.

I've heard of Bank holidays,never had one though,We are usually busier on those days,perhaps they should be called Riverbank holidays !
