mobile phone rip-off

Has anyone had experience of the "chequeback" promotion with Phones4U? I've had a tough time trying to get my refunds and with the latest claim they say my form didn't reach them in time - in spite of the fact I posted it with about 6 weeks to spare!! I know all the phone companies are ripping us off but Phones4U must be the worst. Surely the postal strikes haven't affected us that badly

This is one of these situations where I will spend £1000 to recover £52 if need be. They have lied through their teeth and tried to con me. Got Trading Standards involved (second time I've had to do this) and I'll stop at nothing to get the better of them.

Good on you donnie. We cant keep letting companies away with this. The more people sit back and do nothing the more they will do it.

Sounds like the same sh*t i'm getting from Carphone Warehouse.

Somebody rang me and tempted me with an excellent offer, however 3 months down the line they have yet to post me any paperwork!

My complaint letter went off today. No reply will see more letters sent to all their directors - who will probably just wipe their fat arses with it.

These companies can't be trusted.

My friends recommend going to the providers direct for a better service.
