Hi all you lounge lizards out there!
Just joined this forum when I was told about the new Ness monster!
Anyway, I feel I have to share the most wonderful experience of my life with you all, It happened on Saturday afternoon about the same time as the big fish was caught.
My life long pal Gus phones me early on Saturday morning, "fancy bit of fishing today" now normally I go Salmon fishing on a Saturday, however Gus suggests we go down the canal fishing for roach. Oh dear I thought, what has come over him. I got the feeling he was just wanting to have a wee chat, so I agreed to meet about 10am. With float rod in hand and few other essential accessories, we met up and settled in and began fishing.
Half and hour pasted and Gus exclaimed this is crap! and proceeded to open a bottle of Highland malt, oh dear, oh dear, I thought! However, not wanting to be unsocial able I reached down for my thermal cup and received a more than generous half from my really good buddy. Before long, I was feeling the effects of this and several others. Time moved on quickly as I chatted away to Gus, not knowing he had actually fallen asleep. After a short time I began to think about what the wife was going to say, oh, dear, oh dear, oh dear. I soon fell asleep worrying about this, after what felt like 5 mins sleep, I was awakened by a woman asking if I was alright. I stated yes rubbing my eyes and looking round for Gus, who, there was no sign of, nor was there any of his fishing gear! The woman then asked if I could help her get her car out of the ditch near the house. This was the old lock keepers house, reluctantly I agreed, after some considerable time and effort and the assistance of a pile of bricks I managed to get her car out of the ditch. The woman then asked if I would like to come in for a sobering cup of coffee. I thought what a good idea just what I needed. I went in and had coffee, we sat and chatted for a while, after about half an hour, I told the woman I would have to go home as my wife would be wondering where I was. She said wait here for a minute, a couple of minutes later she returned wearing absolutely nothing. Taking me by the hand we headed for the bedroom, suddenly I felt terribly guilty and stopped her and stated "I am married and have never been unfaithful to my wife"
she replied "time to start now then". We went through into the bedroom! at this stage I think it inappropriate to go into all the details, suffice to say, it was the best ever. Not only once but twice, and as we lay on the bed totally exhausted after 3 hours. Mary informed me she worked in the local hotel at nights and would like to get some sleep before she started work, and would I mind rolling over, I did and fell in the canal!!!
