Just a quickie from Norway. The Season started at Midnight on Tuesday with a 14.5 kilo Salmon and a rather handsome catch of 23 Kilos this evening on the Bjora. Although a small river this is renowned as a big fish river with the average catch of 10.5 Kilos in the opening weeks each year. Sea Trout are generally plentifull too from 1 to 3- 4 kilos. I will try and get a photo of the 50lb smolt and post it when i can as its a busy time for me now.
